What is the hot desk policy?

At The Hub and Spoke we strive to be an adaptive and convenient centre for business owners, so the only hot desk policy we implement is based on how many days you need to use the space and which package you decide will work best for you.

We offer 3 types of desking packages to fit your needs. Firstly, we can provide hot desks on a day or half day rate. You do not need to book these in advance and can simply drop into our centre in Oakham, plug in your laptop and spend a few hours or the full day with us. This solution is great for anyone who has a work emergency, a delayed train, or just wants a change of scene. It’s also an ideal solution if you have any business partners visiting the area and they need a desk for the day.

Secondly, we offer monthly hot desking, which is charged at £250 per month. With this package, you can use a desk in our open plan area for up to 3 days per week. This is ideal for anyone who wants to adopt a hybrid approach to work, or for anyone who is out of the office for meetings at least 2 days per week and is happy being flexible about which desk or space they use.

Thirdly, we offer private desks, which are effectively the equivalent of a private office for 1 person. Our private desks offer a cost-effective solution for people who don’t need a full private office, and would like to work in a collaborative space. Our policy around private desk users means that these contracts have enhanced benefits, including free meeting room bookings, access to parking and a 10% members’ discount in our café.
